Alrighty, .05 is out today, so we should have a year done very soon!

I want to say I'm really sorry for the delay. They bugginess of the first release wasn't something I was quite expecting. Call me naive, but I was anticipating a little more stability. This is my first major DF update, so I suppose that's a little excusable. Anyway, I know you guys are really keen to get this underway, so I want you to know I'm sorry we haven't gotten cracking yet! This won't be quite a blind succession game, but it'll definitely kick arse anyway. We've got some great players lined up, and the chaos that ensues should be legendary The support behind it is awesome, thanks so much!

I think I'll probably will be able to play by the time DF2014 comes out. Might I be added to the future Overseer list? Or failing that, dwarfed as the manager or mechanic.

Just finished reading the topic. Yes, I wanted to make sure nobody would ask to handle the executions before me! If you believe a sole hammerer is just too useless make me a hammer-using soldier or something like that!

We startin' up finally? Let's go smallish world with the 250 year history and a 3x3 embark to avoid the crashes for the most part. Autosaves or religious saving would be a good idea, too. Wouldn't want someone's hard work to go down the drain mid-season. Then again, I wouldn't complain if it crashed right after accidentally, um, "visiting the circus".

3x3 would also be better on framerate, so I'm seriously considering that.

Hey guys, just an update for everyone.

Good news: there's a 15 z level waterfall. The dining room has incorporated this into its design. There is no aquifer.

Even better news: I just got half the year done.

Also - the fortress is called 'Swordwork'. I'd love it if everyone used swords...

Great news guys! Knickers just sent me the save file after the first year! It's done! Thanks for bearing with all the delays we've had. First ep should be up about a day after Knickers sends me the edited files. I'm about to get onto the next player to send them the save. Thanks for sticking with the project!
