I did a lot of googling, but it remains a mystery. Are there boywers in adventure mode? Do weaponsmiths sell them(the one I found did not)? How about general imports or woodcrafters/bonecrafters?

Tips are appreciated. I my archer is about to be up a creek.

Just from memory, weapon shops might sell arrows, I'm not sure. I always steal them from dead enemy archers or bandit camps. Some keeps in cities and villages have arrows lying around for free as well.

The weapon shop I found only had melee weapons.

The problem is that my first quest was a bandit camp and I am already almost out of arrows. Non bowmen there.

Ah, I forgot, since you're playing 0.34, you can find equipment (including arrows) in the dungeons or catacombs underneath keeps and temples in most cities. It's a bit risky though, bandits are lurking around down there as well. Just be wary of that.

Metalcrafters will sell bolts.

find a hunter or bow/crossbowman, get them to follow you, drown them in a river then take their arrows.  after you have you first bunch you should encounter enough ranged enemies to keep up your stocks with their arrows.
Also correct me if i'm wrong but don't keeps have arrows too? (among other useful equipment)
