Well this looks interesting. I don't think I'll have time to read any June books (I have half a dozen books I'm planning on finally finishing soonish already) but I'll probably participate in July if this is still a thing by then

Edit: if nobody else has any suggestions, I can suggest some:

-Lade Chatterly's Lover by D. H. Lawrence

I definitely intend to participate, although I was unable to find a copy of Years of Rice and Salt (or whatever the correct title was) and didn't have enough money to order it online. This was a bit of a test-run this month, at least.
Hopefully I'll be able to get hold of at least one of the recommended books this month.

I'm reading an excellent book at the moment, but I already suggested some last time.

I think I'll make Lady Chatterley's Lover and The Mists of Avalon this month's books. Kind of tripped up, there. We'll need a proper system in place later for choosing these, though.

I did make two suggestions a few posts back. And volunteered to suggest books from the start. I figured you'd make a list of names of people who want to suggest books and we'd go down the list each month. I'm pretty sure other people have said they'd be willing to suggest books as well, but we don't have a list. Also, the thread still says "May books up" and we need the June books on the list in the first or second post.

It seems a shame for this to have died so quickly. If FearfulJesuit isn't up for keeping it organized, I'd be happy to start a new thread and get it going again. I don't want to steal the idea, but it seems like the thread is otherwise pretty dead, and there's not really any organization to speak of.

At first it seemed like it was mostly lack of interest from people that caused the problems, but now. Ehh.

Alright, I'm heading off to visit someone for a few days but I'll be back on the weekend and I'll get it set up. I'll whip out my Data Fu and get things organized.
