I was planning on doing a screenshot lets play on another site, but with the release so near, I decided to postpone it. Now that its out, I plan to start it later next week. But I don't really know how to showcase it. Throwing inside jokes around is probably a no-no, but what else can I do to show what DF to people who have never played it before?

Show them the stuff that can only be done in this particular game and nowhere else. Make an emphasis on fun and !!FUN!!.

Yo should wait maybe a month or so for a more stable version, one that at least doesnt crash in your every now and then.

I suggest doing it narratively, sort of like Boatmurdered. This helps connect the reader to the lore and engage interest while simultaneously avoiding focus on the more arcane mechanics.
