For mutants id try useing some creature variations for the mutants, that way you only need one base mutant.

I'd be tempted to add a clothing tissue layer and a few new descriptors.

Heres a bandit i was working on back in .34, to show you what i mean.
A quick test will show you that he uses the right skills to fight with his sword and the can be disarmed if you cut off his sword hand, well he doesn't have armor his "clothing" does help him resist scratches.

Hey would you like to include the stuff I did on a plastics production pipeline? See my .sig for the files. It was for 31.25 but it should all still work to my knowledge. It goes from raw ingredients has a whole lot of different useable outputs from acrylics, PVC up to kevlar, and using relatively realistic steps (but kept simple enough so it's not a pain in the ass).

It lets you make plastics from alcohol and a few other ingredients, and the different outputs vary from logs (so you can make plastic furniture), threads, cloth, leathers and bars, so the new materials can be used for almost anything.

The files should drop straight in, I encode most of the new materials as plants but a few like Kevlar as inorganics so they can be used for armor. I haven't fine-tuned the material properties though, but the production stuff is all worked out nicely.

Making 2 megabeasts for weapons testing, knocking the easy one out today, the Behemoths, testing one of the castes and find it hilarious as x behemoth spits..the spit lands on the humans tongue, 10 clicks later the human tongue is rotten and the human 'gives into the pain'

Currently 4 behemoth castes, 1 just a harder giant rip of another a giant rip off with fur, a 3rd a giant with horns, and the 4th a giant with necrotic tusks and spit. All I need to do for the behomths are \ and mess with the colors, also add, noexert, they get tired way to fast.

I tried giving the grotesque necrotic bites, BUT they wouldn't stop biting of people's limbs. Next up is a Combat mega bot, I'm hoping on making it able to 'shoot' a piece of metal, it'll be either elephant or bronze colossus size.

Made the megabot's cannon attack there will be 4 versions. 1 with a cannon and free hand, 1 with a cannon and flamethrower (fire imp rip off), 1 with 2 free hands and dragon fire, and the easiest of them all 1 with 2 free hands and no inbuilt weapons.
 
I need to increase the range and the time between shots of the cannon but so far where ever the cannon's 'shell' hits is 'x is broken, x is oozing blood, x is swelling', so you can survive being hit but...your going to lose what ever gets it.
