Resize the trade window?
« on: July 16, 2014, 02:19:33 pm »

I have searched all over for the answer but can't seem to find it, so I thought to ask here. How can I resize the trade window so that I can read the full name of the item being sold from the trader? Text  everywhere else seems fine its just the items from the trader that are the issue.

Fullscreen doesnt change it, tried different tile sets, true type font etc. Nothing is working and it is driving me nuts.

You can't.

If you want to view the full name of an individual item, select it and press "v" (and then press Esc when you're done). If you want to view the full names of all visible items at once, you're out of luck.

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Is that unique to the new version? I don't seem to recall having this much difficulty figuring out the identity for the item being sold. Maybe it is the new item names that is throwing me off as it is only the elf traders.

Are you resizing your window while the Trade screen is visible? If so, try closing the trade window first (go back to the main Dwarf Mode interface), resize it, and then reopen Trade.

Most Elven items are now "grown", so their names will be longer than usual and thus more likely to be cut off.
