Is the civilisation screen more extensive than before?
« on: July 15, 2014, 05:20:27 am »

I don't remember seeing this many nobles listed back when I played on .34, but it has been a long time. Presumably it now counts all the nobles that are part of that dwarf civ from all the fortresses on the world map, but I'm sure it used to only list the queen/king/consorts/general/diplomat. Apologies if it's just my memory at fault.

Just feels weird to have this many listed.

Exactly my feeling... Plus we do not have a King or Queen (also in my current fortress).

I don't care. I have discovered that if you spawn elves this way, cats will chase them down and eat them.

there are barons and other positions for all (or at least some..) of the existing sites now, previously on civilization level, one of a kind positions were shown.  (for dwarves thats monarch, consort and general only i believe.)

I am quite looking forward to the next 20 or 30 years or so of developmental madness

Huh.... Now that you mention it, it's odd that the king/queen isn't shown.
