Hm, this is the first time I see this.
I've embarked and my dwarves do not do any jobs. They have the necessary equipment, it's not forbidden (it's still in the wagon), they have the necessary labours active, but they just mill around the wagon with "no job" in the "u" list. They won't dig, they won't cut trees, they won't hunt, nothing.

Eh I think I figured it out. They did jobs like construct buildings and move items around. But they weren't digging and they weren't cutting trees. And that's cause I gave everyone a crossbow =/
