Named Tree
« on: July 11, 2014, 05:27:49 am »

While travelling through a Elven Retreat I discovered a named tree.
Twilightstrike the Board of Euphoria is a birch.
And nothing more. I searched the Legends but there were no mentions of anything named like this.

Any ideas why it might have a specific name?

I think Elves have always named their trees.

I think most trees I've found in Forest Retreats have been named, it's not uncommon

They likely earned their titles once they've asploded a certain amount of birds.

You know what you must do now. Twilightstrike must be set on fire to see if it makes the elves that see it hate you.

And so I did.

Unfortunately the Elves, some of them even walking around me, didn't care about either "Twilightstrike" or their Tree House "Sister of Contest" partially burning to ashes.
Destroying a tree through the Ignite command is ?nearly? impossible, especially if the upper levels are wet.
There is no way to cut down a tree in vanilla Adventure Mode, right?

Elves always name their trees, but for some reason I can't figure out what determines whether they keep you safe from bogeymen or not. Sometimes I sleep through the night, sometimes I wake up to my neighbor having his head eaten off.

They do not. More than one person has reported being attacked by a bogeyman in a tree-house.

It would be awesome if you could name trees while playing as an elf.
