World-gen sites
« on: July 09, 2014, 10:53:51 am »

Hello,
I hope that the new release is giving you all lots of 'fun'.  Has anybody else noticed that the sites(dwarf forts, goblin forts, elf towns) now appear more numerously in world-gen?  They also seem to cluster together in big groups.  They take up a lot of good real-estate, and even with a low number of sites specified in world-gen, there are a ton of them.  Any ideas on why this is?

So real populations exist and are not spawned for our amusement. Also there are more new site types now.

I don't mind the numerous sites.

I think what stands out more though is it's -extremely- common for one or more races to completely die out before the 125 year mark.
