Dwarf Fortress lighting mod
« on: June 04, 2014, 02:01:40 am »

This is a continuation of http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=125438.0.

Basically i have redone alot of the mod, fixing bugs such as map convertor not working sometimes etc. I have not had chance to take any screenshots so i will include the images from the original post.

This is currently in alpha and not yet ready for release, however i expect it to be ready within a week.

Warmist released Rendermax a while ago. http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=128487.0

There is certainly room for improvements, but I dont know if you want to start from scratch or not.

It think it'd be awesome if this could be combined with viewing multiple z levels (see http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=43510.0).  Not exactly obvious how one would indicate depth if the next level down is brightly lit.
