If none of the mesa's squares are colonizable, attempt to colonize the squares 3 NE and 3 SE of the pod's position.

Nope, because my computer battery just melted again. Consider this on hold until I can bloody get it working again, using a replacement laptop but all the files are still on the one prone to explosions.
