Sure, but only if you get to flush the dearly departed down a ceremonial toilet as an alternative for burial and cremation.

Nonsense. If he was dwarfy, he'd have adopted every damn available cat he could find. Not just settle for one

Besides, who the hell buries pets in DF anyway? They're so poorly handled I don't think anyone bothers doing more than burying them temporarily to avoid bad thoughts

Sadly, we in Seattle have a mayor that keeps on mandating electrum toilets.

Edit:  :o

I just realized that this was a topic that has been dead for 5 years. My bad for the awful necro.

Wow, some toilet manufacturer had a very powerful friend. I am sure they are still laughing as they dive Scrooge McDuck style into their money bin. For what it cost them to build those 5 toilets they could have fed a cheese burger from the value meal menu to 10,000 homeless people every day for the better part of two years. Thank god they put those tax payer dollars to use on something more useful...

The dwarf Melting Sky gestures at the thread. The thread animates.

Goblin: General? We were told by the Dark lord to kill the dwarves, so why are we throwing socks in the pond instead of attacking them?

I bury *everything* - pets, dwarf corpses, necromancers, anything that will fit in a coffin. I find a giant mausoleum filled with body parts to be one of the most satisfying parts of a successful fort. ???
