As a nerd, you're gonna have to accept that despite what you may want (let's be real, you're glad it's this way though) your tastes are not mainstream, and shows that appeal especially to you will generally not do well on mainstream TV.

Oh, I get that, but it doesn't keep me from being frustrated that the average pleb person will laugh at a five minute long fart joke.

If the joke is five minutes, that's badly executed. If the *fart* is five minutes, that is impressive (and hilarious.)

The Critic was a show with Fox responsible for it's death.

I liked most of the Cleveland Show. Frap Attack was awesome.

I like most Family Guy except when it pisses me off, as in the one with Rush Limbaugh or the one where an Arabic guy moves to town and of course he's a terrorist or something.

I think my favorite of the three is American Dad.

King of the Hill is one of my favorite shows. Futurama too. Fox would be foolish to ever cancel The Simpsons; especially now that they are mostly good episodes again after a few years of rough patch a fair number of years back, a few years before the movie.

Honestly it's my opinion they should stop making live action and focus entirely on cartoons.

On that note if they ever cancel Axe Cop on Animation Domination I'm never going to watch it ever again. Golan was pretty good, has potential. Lucas Bros was ok, but not my kind of humor. High School USA seems like a good concept, I'm sure it could have some good parts. I turned it after feeling insulted for some minor reason I can't recall about something silly. Maybe I was in a bad mood. Axe Cop though is about right. I'm not sure if it would fly in primetime though.
