War with dwarfs

Well Im playing a new world and whelp I learned that then normal dwarfs are at war with the legionnaire dwarfs who it seems has conquered the whole northern part of my world. Normally i would think this was cool intill I saw that their is only one dwarfern civilization in the entire world. So is this supposed to happen or what?

Well I have one chemist dwarf who has killed two other dwarfs but since when a dwarf kills sentient creature they make a item out of them... yeah he has a journal that's worth 7890 in total.

I would've preferred humans to have the legion civ. Maybe even a different language file to give them a more Roman feel.

Well that i can agree on because they have pushed the regural dwarfs to extintion with only on mountin home and no forts, but I learned some thing cool about our dwarfhomeland... our queen was a witch hunter.
