Leave a full bucket of KFC in the backseat, after a week or so you wont even notice the cigarette smell anymore.

the Incense, Steam cleaning, and Reupholstering are also all valid options. or just wait and let you nose adjust, it will eventually filter out the smell as something normal and not worth bringing to your attention.

this worked quite well for removing the smell of vomit (mine - i used to have quite a problem with carsickness) from the family van
