Question about world gen and adventure stuff.
« on: April 12, 2014, 12:04:29 am »

I don't play adventure mode much, but I had a few worlds where I was doing fortresses and adventures in alternative runs, and so I have a question.

Do specific sites (bandit camps, night monster caves, etc) exist on the map before you physically venture out to them as an adventurer? I've never found them without having an adventurer, but after an adventurer they're all marked and you can embark to them (And you get a few ((bugged)) friendly human bandit npc's to hang out with)

Also, less important: Can your adventurer set off your own traps when you visit your fortress?

I usually start a map with an adventurer to have a look around because as u say its not too often to find those places withour people in adventuremode telling u about them but yes it they exist before hand. whenever i play a couple of fortresses on a pocket map with high number of sites i usually find one without adventure mode within the first 5 fortresses
