I bet this has come up before but I've read the wiki and searched for threads and couldn't find any help...

I am new to adventure mode, I found a store and am having problems buying and selling. I have managed to sell a bunch of meat and some skins and have some gold and silver coins now, but I cant buy anything from the store.

Each time I try I get a message like 'Yes and trade we will! Simply tell me what interests you and what you're prepared to offer in exchange'
Or
'Perhaps if you throw in some more goods I can make an offer'.

I am selecting items in his list, hitting enter on them to mark with [T] and them (O)ffering 1 $ worth to try and get what the actual price is, and I just get the above messages. The wiki just says this will make him give a counter offer, but im not getting one.
Please help.

Nevermind, apparently I just didnt have enough money so I couldnt get a quote.
also cant find a way to delete the post...
