So, right now my the mousepad on my laptop and the wireless mouse both refuse to work. I don't know why, could be a virus or something, but I am relying on my keyboard and touchscreen for the moment.

The funny thing is, they work when I log into my computer profile and the split second afterward- then cut out. I may not know much about computers but I doubt its a hardware issue. Any advice?

EDIT: Nevermind, it just started working on its own again.

My first thought it update your drivers. My next thought is, are the interface drivers not loading at startup? Is something else interfering with them and causing them to fail? You can check your Task Manager or whatever it's called in Mac.
