I love Masterwork and all the new workshops and reactions and everything else, but I have to admit that the various sized buildings frustrate me.  Especially buildings where you can only enter them from one side (usually the South).  These severely limit the layouts I can use in my fortress.

Also, I like to make big halls and decorate them myself rather than be forced into a specific decoration scheme.  Masterwork in particular has lots of great ways to decorate.

Is there any way to set the sizes for the various Masterwork buildings, workshops and furnaces to be 3x3?

I don't know about changing them but there is an option in the gui settings to show building dimensions.  Very useful when you are planning out a level.

In short: No. You can make new designs, but if you just make the larger buildings to 3x3 it will look odd.

Which MWDF building can only be entered from the south? o.O
Afaik MWDF doesn't use any pathblocking tiles at all (which i find very frustrating for the forges )
