Advanced Crafting in Adventure Mode?
« on: February 11, 2014, 12:12:29 am »

Any chance my adventurer can make weapons/armor better than stone/bone stuff? It seems like I can smelt a bunch of bars from metal I find in the game. Not too sure what I can do with these bars.

I'm currently sitting on a stash of ~30 bifrost bars from killing a dungeon full of Frost Giants. As well as 10 Wolfram bars that I have managed to smelt using a cheerful campfire.

Examining metal bars of any kind lists all the uses one can apply to said bar. And it seems like I can craft/reinforce proper armor and weapons at a magma forge.

Now is it at all possible for me to locate such a forge in Adventure Mode? I just started as a Hero-level human, and I'm assuming I'll need to find a Dwarven mountainhome or some settlement?

Any input is appreciated.

in 34.11 dwarven settlements/moutain homes do not exist in adv mode... Only human towns. And those won't have what you are looking for.
