A

Zweihander deserves us to be at our best when we test it out. Nothing else will suffice.

{A}
{Bonus Points to hachnslay for being appropriately cautious of drow. Only time will tell if the security is warranted by reality, but the caution was a good idea. Please remember in the future that the difference between an ally and an enemy in Menzoberranzan is thinner than spider silk.}

  You sleep.

  Tommorrow, you awake refreshed and ready. You don your finest clothes and head downstairs, where your whole family is waiting. Your Father stands behind your Mother, Matron Phobos, His arms crossed and twin spears attached to his back. Your brother is there, a curious half-smile on his face, standing next to your sister, a frail waif of a female almost as small as a male. Her eyes narrow as she glares at you. She's never forgiven you for not following her in becoming a priestess.

  Matron Phobos congratulates you on your entrance to Melee-Magthere through gritted teeth, and offers you a choice.

 A) "The Slaves have prepared you a entourage. For whatever reason they seem to favor you. It will be a cheap entrance, but I know you've never been one for extravagance. And you can be certain they will defend you with their lives..."

  B) "Or you can be a proper drow and let the slaves stew in their filth. We rented a float-disk from the marketplace, only a temporary measure, but you are our last entry into the academy. It is the last chance we have to make an impression. I'd advise this one, myself - Slaves are, obviously, not precisely a praetorian guard. You will make fewer enemies and more friends this way. The only risk is Massana deciding you're a bother." Your Matron smiles grimly at the thought.

A. Trust the slaves over the drow any day, and we can afford to make enemies as long as we kill them later.

Besides, when we emerge victorious, they won't be saying anything about our decorum or the honor of our house.
