In adventure mode do the different attacks do different things?
« on: February 10, 2014, 04:04:02 am »

Title. Just got masterwork today and one the specific attacks screen there are multiple ones, hammerdwarf for example : Bash, hammer, beat, etc. Are they purely for flavor or are there actual benefits/draw backs to using these attacks?

No, yep. That's what I meant too. I want to come out of the theater completely fucked up for weeks.

go to the dwarven guide --> weapons & armor

at the top there are the quicklinks, and below it says tables ammo / armor / WEAPONS / ...
There you can check all the different attacks... Some are the same, just with a different name, but most are different. And usually there is one entirely OP attack in between, which I wouldn't use in adventure mode, because it completely destroys the fun ^^ (In fortress mode attacks are selected randomly, so every 10th hit or so is the superattack... which is okay... but in adv mode you could do it every time...)
