Well, that was fun indeed! Is it just me or does laser tag seem like the perfect venue to meet up?
If only I hadn't lost so badly... Oh well. :P 'Twas still an epic battle, with back-shooting and pickup-camping a'plenty.
The Chinese food we got at Blarg's suggestion was quite nice, too. I'm glad I finally managed to meet all you Melbourne Bay12ers. If I ever move down to Melbourne I might have to register at that place.

Trust me, play paintball a few times. Nothing like learning to associate getting hit with pain to improve skills :P

Hello Bay12'ers of Melbourne, I've lived down here for a little while and am about to move house in about a week or two. I have some stuff I'm pretty much done with and want to part with, for free, that I'd like to go to someone who will appreciate them. This includes some Magic: The Gathering cards (4th and 5th edition from the 1990's), older science fiction novels, and a few leftover Table RPG source books. Plus a spindle of PC games on CD/DVD.

If anyone is interested and wants to visit / pick them up, PM me.

Actually I'm going to be moving to Sydney and I'm looking for housing right now, I don't suppose anybody knows anybody near Ultimo looking for a room mate?

Pretty much where central station is, west of Surry Hills, north of Redfern. Big ugly buildings, can't miss it.

Nice area, very arty, Reelya. I'm pretty jelly.

I'm free until uni goes back, except on the 10th and 11th. I currently have no money, but shall soon enough, perhaps some time late next week? Or is that too late for you?

Ok heads up on the situation, it literally changed since my first message:

the guy who has the lease literally came and talked to me 5 minutes ago asking if I wanted to move out straight away. Like literally today. The house got sold by the owners, so we all have to move out. Up until now, the guy was telling me anytime up til 20th February was cool, so I told him right now that I'm just not ready to move ASAP since I'm in the middle of doing web development work for someone that's needed ASAP and I have all this gear I haven't sorted or packed yet. Since a few of the other people have already left (it's a big old house with 6-7 bedrooms), sounds like the guy wants to shift everyone before by the weekend so he can stop paying rent on the place.

So, it's probably either pick it up in the next day or two, or I can pack it up and you can visit after I settle down again. But I'm not sure exactly when, or which property I'll be taking, I'm having a look at a couple of options.

I might pick it up after you've moved, because as it stands my funds are too dry to travel out your way.
