Do pastured grazers need water?

This is the first time I've ever really noticed my pasture lacking a murky pool in it somewhere, do I need to include one? It's not mentioned on the wiki.

Nope. Only your citizens need to drink.

Grazers need to eat grass only. Keep in mind how much they eat, as the size of the creature dictates how much it eats (also what the x is in [GRAZER:x]).

Citizens do need to drink, but dwarves are drunkards and they love their booze. Dwarves will only drink water when there is no booze.
