corpses becoming friendly units

ok so i noticed a bug in the new update... when my military squad kills an undead unit, that unit will not be killed but it becomes friendly instead and just stands around in my fort. so far this has happened to 2 of my dorfs who had died and a few random creatures, all in my terrifying biome

Having a lot of weirdness like this as well.  Some "trader" dwarf keeps respawning with half his body missing and bleeding to death in my hospital.  It seems to be related to my witch hunter somehow. Trying to pin down exactly what is going on, but its really hard.

I'm not even in an evil biome - but I've got about 10 tombs dedicated to this same stupid "Hame Umioragoth, Trader".

When you say friendly, do you mean that they have the green 'friendly' text, or are the undeads that simply dont attack? Any special castes, mages in your fort?

friendly units with green text, only mages in my fort are a wavekin, a few arcane dwarves, and a new guy called witch hunter

I guess its the witch hunter. It takes the opposed to life from undeads away, seems that they try to do that with normal corpses as well.  :-\

im guessing this can go here as well, just had a schizo go nuts, and i used dfhack to cage him inside obsidian using liquids, when i dug him out he reanimated and returned to live, but he showed as peasant, so in my units screen i have a dorf showing as just peasant and his info screen is blank

ok when my schizo died his body laid in my corpse stockpile for maybe 1 in game day then he just stood up and was part of my population again. but here he is
