Found quite the gathering..
« on: January 05, 2014, 03:47:05 am »

I was making a dwarf fortress for the sole purpose of digging a tunnel to super duper fun places and i embarked as close to where i left my adventurer as possible, but i found quite the odd scene.

Fortunately, no one seems to want me dead, so i guess i'll just finish this tunnel and abandon.

So... the dragon's aren't hostile to you? Interesting. But do not send an adventurer down there without a massive amount of back up!

He's legendary +5 in every combat stat, full steel armor, a vampire, and a necromancer with over 300 megabeast kills, 40ish of those bronze collossusi.
My plan is to bring some of those dragons with me- kill them and use the bodies as my slaves :D
If he dies, what the hell. I'll at least have found a challenge too extreme for him.

What, you haven't comitted genocide against the sentient races yet? Do that before you attempt the same with the clowns. OH. And make sure to set up a lever + bridge layout to ensure you can lock and unlock that tunnel.

That was depressingly anticlimactic, i mean that adventurer was ridiculously powerful and yet died so easily..
Edit- alright, i'm a terrible, undwarfy person- reloaded a save i have of that adventurer and made him walk back to hell for round 2...

Interestingly, all the crap from my fortress was spread across the map- including hell. There's loads of random skeletons, kobold jewelry, dwarf junk, etc.

Get dfhack and use the lair command. It stops the stuff from moving.

Go in that cave, kill everything, reanimate everything then charge into hell. May comedy ensue.

Can you possibly provide a save so we can see what we can do? Please?
