Honestly watching enough Hunger Games almost makes the whole "Chances of survival" aspect of it feel rather empty a lot of the time.

The sheer number of random or unavoidable deaths makes me astonished that the army and police force win "all the time" when really there should be an unlucky year here and there at best.

Also I am surprised there is a "no posting spoilers" given that to have a strategy... spoilers sort of need to be laid down.
