This morning I have finally decided. Nothing - and noone, even commander, will stop me from going down from this desolated hills into the plains. To monkey villages, fat with riches from peaceful life. We were hiding, like cowards, in our camp for years, simply awaiting for some unlucky humie to wander by. Indeed, just now one of them showed his ugly face here - and was promptly beheaded by Ozud. It was just outrageous! This...Thing didn't even put up a decent fight, quickly passing out from Shamoz arrow. Whatever. I'm fed up with isolation, as well as my trusty axe and some similar-minded fellows...

I am Azstrog Undersin the Calm Color. Today is the first night of my conquers. And I now watch in excitement as a small ape village burns in the nearly perfect silence. Corpses of underpeople were fed to the fire - no one had given decent enough fight to gather their ears afterwards. Oh, demons, those apes hadn't even positioned guards for nighttime! Perhaps, we must try next assault under direct sunlight. Or it would be too easy. I grin menacingly at the small severed monkey head, face twisted in utmost horror, and throw it into the fire. Burn away, whelp.

What. The. HELL?! I'm okay with dogs - we actually killed quite a few on our way in, but berzerk boars, pecking guneahens and... Argh! Bulls!!!
They've gored macegoblin arm and leg. He is in no condition to travel, but he fought the beast so hard that it would be a pity to bury such wrath. So, he goes with us. It doesn't actually matter, how.

ARGH! Reindeers charge! Prepare yourselves!
I killed only one of them, yet, to my credit, he was still quite jumpy and furious when my axe split his brain across the dark landscape. Shamoz is out of arrows...

Fuck those frenzied berzerks! And I mean these demonborn abominations of cows! One broke macegoblins spine. I never remembered his name. Perhaps, Azstrog? My hand! Argh!

We have beaten them into submission and finished. Azstrog is dead. My left hand is broken, body - gored and strained. Shamoz crawls around, the beasts got his leg. Ozud, Mato and Nako are somewhat unhurt. I think that I don't want to see another bloodthirsty maniacal moose before we get the hell out of here! And fast!

Donkeys. Oh dear Armok, why?! Have we appealed you TOO much with today sacrifice of humies?! Mato screams in pain as beast bites his hand! Third donkey!..
I finished two beasts, but one kicked me into stomach. It hurts as hell, yet not so badly as at the first moment...

Oh gods... They have eaten Shamoz alive! I heard his horrifying screams and sounds of rippling flesh... Horse hit Ozud at the back with a loud crunch.. He is still alive, yet is no more... There goes Mato. Horse shattered his hand into tiny bloody pieces, nearly ripping it from the body. If I had chance, I would be far, far away from here... Oh, hoov...

I love this game.

So, the conqueror Azstrog Undersin the Calm Color was stopped by a horde of mindless frenzied beasts rather than forces of light. And I think now that all villains have a really good reason not to attack villages. With such livestock, who even needs defenders?

Nako Flaxenplague the Moist Innocence of Speaking, swordgoblin, was the only one to survive the battle in decent shape. Ozud Postmenace, the killer of unnamed peasant adventurer, was mortally wounded by horse and was bound to slowly suffocate. Shamoz Liecrater, bowgoblin, was killed by livestock in really macabre way - herbivores feasted on his still shaking form, drinking blood from horrible wounds. Mato Bittenspider the Incinerated Depths, sword, was killed just before Azstrog by a horse. Two of bloodthirsty beasts - Craftedhatched and Wetwilt (last one credited for two goblins) are still wandering somewhere along with their crazed kind. Remember, young ones - never ever step into the cursed village of Yordinners...

Today I set off on an adventure, with my trusty crossbow by my side.  I may be small for a human, but do not mistake me for being weak.  I am the mightiest warrior known to humankind.  I will travel the world in search of glory and honor, perhaps with a few friends of mine beside me.  I will see which of them wishes to journey with me, and I will be off.  TO VICTORY! TO GLORY! TO ADVENTURE!

Success!  My good friend Lomam Straltuma has agreed to join me.  His bow will be invaluable in fighting our enemies.  Off I go, to kill a bandit mentioned by one of the townsfolk.  For GLORY!

I have decided that the life of a guard is not for me.  I have served in the town guard for five years now and have always felt like something was missing.  I need to travel, discover what I am missing in life, for only then can I be truly happy.  My friends in the guard all think I am crazy and will not come with me, but that is for them to decide.  I can no more control their actions then I can the wind and the rain.

Night falls.  I have yet to reach my destination, the bandit camp.  I feel fear for the first time in my life.  I have heard horrific stories about what happens to those who are caught outside at night.  I only hope I can find shelter before anything finds me first.

This adventurer was killed by a bandit marksdwarf.

22 Galena, entry 1

Today I set out to explore the world.  I have always wondered what it would be like to see the world outside of my own home, and it appears that now I get the chance to do just that.  I have been cast out, you see.  My family no longer wants me around, none of my friends have any interest in seeing me anymore.  Too bad for them, I suppose.  I did nothing wrong, nothing worth banishment.  Asmir Somegakul, one of the guardsman, is coming with me, because one of his friends left a while back to find a bandit and never came back.  Too bad for him, I'm not going near any bandit camps.  Nifih Soduthomod, one of the silly adventuring types, is tagging along because he wants to experience adventure.  Good for him, I suppose.  All I have to do is survive by myself for a little while and my family will let me return.

Fascinating, diary.  I have found a nearby lake.  No way to get across it without a boat, and that is one of the things I don't have.  I never knew this lake was here, less than a days journey from the village.  I will have to come here more often.  It is a wonderful place.

Night falls.  It is only now that I appreciate the assistance of the two warriors at my side.  There are things said to haunt the night, things unspeakable to mankind.  Even the dwarfs hide in their mountainhomes when night falls, so dangerous is it.  For now, I must sleep.  Goodnight, diary.

Thank all the gods I made it through the night.  I can't believe I ever stole that rope reed now.  It's not like I needed it.  I want to go home, but the others tell me no.  Now I know why they came along.  I am to die out here, alone and afraid.  But the sun rises.  I must endure.

Nifih left us today, said we were too boring and not going on enough adventures.  I told him to go fuck himself, that probably didn't help his mood.  He stormed out of camp after a camel, never did see him again.

I have found a brook!  And a town!  Of course, then one of the townsfolk, Mathras, decided he wants to come with us.  If he wants to get himself killed, that's his problem.

One of the townsfolk asked me to kill a bandit leader.  Normally I would refuse, but under the circumstances I said yes.  I was feeling generous: after all, I had just stolen a bunch of berries from them.

We have been accosted!  Some group called the Sweltering Talons.  Crap Crap Crap I don't wanna die!

Killed by bandits, I would assume they were.  Lasted quite a while, though.
Oh, and I killed one of them with a headshot.  A goblin by the name of Nani Lusterfleshes.
