Checking your History

I dont quite remember well enough if what i was watching was Fortress or Adventure, but i was just wondering is there any way to check the history of your map before or upon embarking on Fortress Mode?

Start new game > Legends

You'd have to do it before you embark and you can't check the history while in fort mode. Not without  making a copy of that save and then abandoning on the copy.

It'll be somewhat easier in the next version when we can non-destructively retire forts.

there is even a legends reader utility to make looking through the history easier
