Can't engrave coin die at toolmaker's workshop

As the subject tells: I made sure to have spring steel precision tools and the appropriate bars (copper, silver and gold) and all of them given straight to the workshop. I also have the research done to build a coin mint.
Do I need to do something else? When want I choose the production it tells me what I need, but everything is ready! Is this a bug?

Maybe its outside the burrows... see known bugs section in the manual. Trz using the manager to start the reactions, it should work. Otherwise I am not aware of any bugs on these reaction, as several people have reported building coinmints without problem.

I have built coin mints - you also need to make sure your research and coin dies, being unique items, are not in transit somewhere as part of a hauling job.
