Champion's Day: The Oil Burns Bright [0/4]
« on: June 01, 2015, 09:06:02 pm »

(Inspired by mad max: fury road. This should be a pretty simple waste land game, sorry for anyone looking for an in depth and more serious mad max style game)

Wars, wars have shaped this land. Wars have demolished this land. Humanity has torn it to pieces. Humanity has sucked it dry and left it dead. The survivors linger to die and few things are left of what was once thriving civilization. The lands plains turned to salt, mountains to dunes, oceans to irradiated trash pools. The world is a deadly place, everything out here hurts, and nothing is easily come by.

You originate from a raider clan near the western coast. The salt flats of your home border the filth once known as the pacific. You all have kept a decent living at the compound, your leader having found water and soil that would support plants. The tribes and peoples around hate you all for making your living off destroying theirs.

Some of you have saught a just cause, usually ending in a hanging. Others wanted to see the world burn over again, usually ending in the destruction of the clan's enemies. Yet others seem their own path finding their own niche in the wastes.

Today is a most important day. It is the ranking of the high officials and promotions of His Greatness' officers, through a rite of passage of course. This also means it is one of the few days of the year that trade caravans will be sent to allied clans sending and receiving precious supplies. The usual is sending thousands of gallons of water for hundreds of gallons of guzzoline.

This is a day for you to show your skill. It is a day raiders will go and pillage for trade supplies, scouts and guards will defend the caravan, bards will show their musical and maniacal prowess, and officers will show their superior leadership and condition in stressful situations.

But before the carnage begins, who are you?

Name:
Age:
Gender:
Class: (Raider, scout, caravaneir, brute, officer, bard, other (PM for other, give suggestions if you have an idea)
Purpose: (PM for back story. Are you looking for revenge, love, lost family, maybe you were kidnapped and trying to escape ( :p ), are you looking for a good cause, maybe you want to start a rebellion and help enemies of the clan, etc etc PM to clear backstory with me to make sure it fits the setting)

It's a good concept... it just doesn't seem original. I thin that's why it was ignored- either that or the title which suggests a dungeon crawl or something similar.

FoU has some twisted role ideas. Screw second-guessing this mechanical garbage spaghetti, I'm basing everything on reads and visible daytime behaviour.

Would you like to play a game of Mafia? The subforum is always open to new players.

Alright

Probably because I wrote it all late at night thinking about the movie
Might just rewrite the whole thing and do something different
