Magic the Gathering set question.
« on: November 15, 2013, 09:45:20 pm »

There was this old MtG set, and the owner of my local comic store said if you laid out the cards in a certain order, it played exactly out as a comic book type thing. The set name started with a V, maybe?

There was only one set starting with a V, Visions (middle set from Mirage block, Feb 1997 release).  While there are little snapshots of story elements in a lot of the sets, I've never heard this particular urban myth before.  If you're not in any rush, you could screencap all the cards of a set from Gatherer and fiddle around with the order, see if you can make it work....  being familiar with the plot arc for the set would help, of course.

There was the Unglued set, in which each card had a word at the bottom and if placed in order had some short story or something.
