General Bio: Born a son of a moderately high-ranking officer and thus inducted in the military himself as a teen, he witnessed the horrors of war first hand far too young, far too often. Disillusioned, mentally and physically scarred, he took the opportunity to get transferred from active duty after being mauled in defense of a fort in the middle of nowhere. A grim determination to spare others the fate he had suffered drove him into the political branch, and through his resolve and good connections, he now attends this peace conference as one of the diplomats. He may not be particularily bright or cunning, and still is inexperienced in many abilities a proper diplomat should be able to command... but he's distrustful of nations and militaries to a fault, and paranoia definitely is a plus on the all too smooth dance floor of diplomacy.
Personal Goals: End the war at all costs, provide stability and a decent standard of living to the Free States. Preserve the independance of the Free States.
