dwarf/human babies in the arena?
« on: October 28, 2013, 07:42:26 pm »

Is it possible to tweak the raws to allow me to spawn dwarven babies in the arena? Im not sure how to do it seeming as its just a life phase I really want to spawn like 50 dwarven babies vs 50 human children and see who wins.

"I dunno, just grab the one that stinks the least and throw it in."

Wouldnt they just sit there and do nothing? Thats usually what they do in adventure mode.

I've never seen a baby in Adventure Mode but perhaps yes. Even if they do they will still fight anything that comes close Giant Sponge style. I want to be able to match babies against grasshoppers and 100 babies vs a dragon and so on. Just for fun. Maybe even find out a way to play as a baby in adventure mode.

A workaround would be to create a separate creature identical to the one you want to spawn as a baby and just make it not increase past baby size while it ages.

"At the ripe age six months, my mother was drafted into battle. She took me in one hand , a war axe in the other. The battle lasted for nine days until my mother was snatched into the jaws of a dragon. She dropped me into the the things gullet as she was tossed a clear mile, and I watched. I watched as as I slid down it's slimy, undulating, repulsing throat, and I decided at that moment I would not be helpless - Excuse me."

*Urst McOne-year-old strikes a match off of his stubbled chin, and lights a dangling cut cigar in his mouth*

"... So, where was I? Oh, right. After avenging my mother, by being swallowed whole and slicing my way out of it's stomach cavity with a half digested dagger, I came to realize the fort had fallen. Everyone was dead. No civilization for a thousand miles. So I started crawling. Let me tell you something, You learn to walk and talk fast in the wilds, boy. I didn't choose this adventurers life, that's for damn sure ... It chose me."
