Ultima Ratio Regum
« on: October 18, 2013, 01:24:20 pm »

Never heard of it, but with being described as "a semi-roguelike game inspired by Jorge Borges, Umberto Eco, Neal Stephenson, Shadow of the Colossus, Europa Universalis and Civilization. " definitely grabbed my attention... Anyone ever heard of it?

Well, what would I expect? Probably forgot where I am, haha...
But yeah, was pretty excited when I read about it at RPS, so I really had to see if anyone ever heard of it...
Search it is..

EDIT: I'm still going to look deeper at it, but it seems like it's just now that he is actually starting to make the game, while he was focusing primarily on the world generation.. I just hope (and for that i think the situation are pretty different) that he doesn't lose his interest after that, like happened to Cult/Empyrea.. It seems like a lot of those guys are really motivated by the world generation aspects
