My swedish friend lost everything he has basically. No job, no income, no nothing. He got himself locked up on a mental ward after an anxious breakdown, that made him loose his job.
We have decided to take the desperate solution, he immigrates to Denmark, and lives in my appartment untill he can get his own stuff up and running. He has two pets, a border  collie and some cat.

Now what will the issues be with him moving here? I need some guys who are better at googling laws and various tax stuff than i am, i already tried and miserably failed.
I know its perfectly legal to travel between denmark and sweden without a passport. But i odnt know the rules about extended stays. Could i have some help here?

While I can't help, I give my condolences to him and what has happened to him and wish both of you good luck in trying to fix this problem.

Note: all of the following is based on my own knowledge and may or may not be true.
Since Denmark and Sweden are both in the EU there really shouldn't be a problem with him moving in permanently, finding work etc. Checking if you're allowed pets at your place would be a sensible place to start though.
