I raided Red Dawn HQ, killing 32 foes, including 3 armored cars, and retrieving the Memory Card, all without a single of my own agents dying.
Cyber Armor is good.

Mostly cheesed Capra Demon, using firebombs thrown over the fog wall to kill his dogs and take off about a fifth of his health, before taking the fight directly to him.

Without the dogs, the fight is sooooo much easier.

I killed a Titan!

Turns out, machinegun + two turrets + projectiles for everyone + Lawnmower + Hull boosters + 5 Medkits + Assault & Semi-auto Rifles is quite effective!
I also gave everyone a nice pair of glasses to see better, and various types of scopes.  Katanas for everyone, as well.

I also killed a titan, a titan of time to be specific. Managed to cobble together a build for the twin torches that basically buffed the attack damage, speed and my movement speed while channeling it to stupid levels. Add to it the Poseidon boon that basically tripled my damage at the start of every fight and by the time I faced the dog I could phase him by draining my fairly meager mana bar once. Kronos was a bit trickier, even made me use up one death defiance but he could not keep up with the raw damage output of my freaking basic attack.

What's even funnier is that there was way more potential left with both certain boons, as well as upgrades that could've pushed my DPS even higher that just never appeared or there was other stuff on offer.

Lucked into getting Baiman while making foolish decisions.

I have discovered that it is oftentimes more advantageous to avoid losing than it is to try to win. You only really need a half decent hand to get far enough in front you’re unlikely to be caught up, and finishing in second place is still a good thing in a four player game, at least at lower ranks.

So I accidentally became an oil baron.

It started as the most classic expedition - royal woodlands; humans, beavers and lizards; extra people, oil and wood as bonus. First cornerstone was the bonus to veggies, and one of the first blueprints was the small farm, and there was some fertile soil in the initial glade. Things were looking good.

Turns out the first few glades I opened had patches of fertile soil as well, and in the meantime I got another cornerstone for veggies, and unlocked the press for oil. I ran on a single woodcutter camp that was rarely kept fully staffed, because I needed to keep the hostility low - sacrificing oil and marrow doesn't lower hostility.

I wasn't using water, so all blightrot was from the prestige. Every year two people would leave because the queen wanted me to send ludicrous amounts of wood that I was just not producing. Every log was either turned into planks or coal. Additionally, in year 8, 8 people died because I was cursed by the blighted traveller that I had robbed.

I did produce some complex food, but I simply didn't get the workshops that produced luxury items that I needed. Couldn't make dye for scrolls, got no workshops that produced weapons or incense. My coat production wasn't that great either. Solution - buy stuff with oil.

The positive forest mystery doubled the rep gain from morale, so I had to overcome the high hostility with as much coddling as I could give my people. And so, traders left my settlements happy, with wagons full of oil, while my lizards were generating reputation like there's no tomorrow.

A sunder with an ITU+advanced optics is disgusting. HIL, two ion beams/graviton beams based on preference and you can really reach out and touch someone. And being a relatively light destroyer, you've got a decent level of manoeuvrability so most ships struggle to actually catch you, especially big, lumbering ones. Smaller ships also struggle, just because by the time they reach you you've burned through a good chunk of armour or their shields are seriously soft-fluxed.

During my first mission on a planet surface, I did a maneuver to break away from an attacking ace and his wingman. Their attempt to compensate for my maneuver caused them to collide, killing them both instantly. Goodness knows I'm never going to pull that off again.
