One of the metalsmiths in my fortress just claimed the metalsmith's forge. He grabbed some ore and a mangrove log. The only mangrove log I  had in stock. He needs more!

Searching the map trees, all I found are Willows, pines, and cedars. Anyone got idea what symbol Toady use for mangrove.

I'm getting that feeling that I'm going to lose this dwarf.

As a longshot, don't forget to check the type of wood your carts are made from, if you haven't used them up yet...

They shouldn't insist on a specific type of log.  At least, not a specific type of log that isn't local to your environment.  It will show the dwarf requesting items he's already collected, though, so it's likely there's something else he needs.

Hmm... He's got several pieces of malachite, and that mangrove log. The only place it came from was the wagon. And most of it was converted into beds, except that one log.  :roll:

Looks like I'm sealing him in the shop until he rots.

They won't demand a specific kind of wood as of the last many versions.  Was there anything else in the q list?

I watched him grab the malachite ore, and the mangrove log.

Sure, I can take a look and see what he wanted anyway.  It's possibly another ore.

I think that the mangrove symbol is an upside down J.  try looking around the river.
