My County has been promoted to a Duchy and I've got The Incoming King in my nobles screen. But, despite fulfilling all his demands (roads, et caetera), he didn't arrive with new migration wave.

What can be the cause of that problem? I have no guards, and my roads touches only three edges of them map, but I don't think it'd be that significant.

Did you meet all his demands before or after the latest dwarf caravan? I believe they have too see that the demands are met then they report back.

Hmm, interesting suggestion. You mean, even if the demand status is blue, the caravan / liaison has to check it. That may be the reason, becouse I didn't have any caravan last autumn due to a goblin siege at the same time it was supposed to arrive. So I guess i have to wait another year to check the demands and some time for migration, not good.

So what do you do if you haven't seen a dwarven liason in over ten years? Mine got slaughtered by fire imps my first year and in nine years, another never came.
