A squad of 4 moderately trained axedwarves in copper armor beating down an entire ambush of elves, despite being outnumbered and wielding only wood training axes. This was an excruciatingly slow and probably painful experience on the elves' part. I imagine the dwarves were having a hella good time.

Another time a recruit bit an otherwise uninjured troll in half. Yeah. The whole troll. Just, like, with her teeth.

Borderlands 2 reference, ahoy!

A woodcutter going berserk during a tantrum spiral and killing 10 dwarves, until a jeweler shows up and punches him in the face.... tearing apart his brain......
JUSTICE!

It's not that badass but it happened recently

I had just gotten three forgotten beasts in the space of a month, one of them caused spontaneous bleeding which killed ten (out of thirty) of my military, the second caused total body necrosis which hospitalized another ten, and the third caused extreme pain in every part of the affected dwarves' bodies, which I didn't even know could happen and incapacitated another six. With four dwarves left in the military of any use, and only one of which had any training, an army of goblins appeared, led by their warlord. I send my four dwarves into the trap filled hallway as bait, but for some reason only one goes. The others were sleeping or boozing or something. So Urist McHammerdwarf goes down the hallway, decides that waiting around is for suckers and charges out at the goblin hoard. I figure that that's the end of her until she kills the warlord with one hit of her silver hammer, then spends the next few minutes beating a swordgoblin to death while the other twenty goblins run the hell away. Presumably it was a glitch or something, but it was still pretty badass.

Goblins are natural cowards, so they run as soon as the leader of their particular group gets killed unless they also happen to be enraged or too seriously wounded at that moment.

In a recent fort, I happened to look at the kills screen of one of my rangers. She had several dwarven kills to her name, including one of the founders of the fortress (who I hadn't realized had died, though I wasn't surprised since the fort was in the middle of a pretty bad tantrum spiral due to a few deaths to dehydration (no soil nor easy water except the FB-infested caverns). I zoomed to her, and there she was...sitting in the middle of the dining room, casually sniping any dwarf who went berserk before they could cause trouble. I watched her coolly murder her own berserk child.

Her status? "On break."

A hunter ran into a Lictor.
She put about 15 bolts into it and killed it, even though it managed to stab her several times.
Then she went and found another Lictor and shot all the remaining bolts into it, leaving it unsonscious on the ground.

And only then she went to seek medical attention.
