So I always tired no matter how much sleep I have had and its getting really bad right now. I have been to the doctors about it they took blood and stuff and said nothing was wrong but It seems like they have it wrong to me. I sometimes finish work and I'm to tired to even eat a meal and go promptly to bed at 6pm.

I have fallen asleep at work ( this has happened a few times I work as a IT Tech and work at a office away from everyone else ) and it's getting to the point where it's really interfering with my life and I have no idea what to do.

It seems just no matter how much I sleep or how well I eat or exercise Im always tired to the point of not being able to do anything.

Try another doctor, at some other place.
You might get a different answer.
Altough it could be because you eat the wrong kinds of foods perhaps? Try eating healthier.
It could also be because of stress or something.

Sleep's a tricky thing, and even doctors don't fully understand it.

There is such a thing as too much sleep. Your sleep works in cycles, so if you sleep too much or wake up and go back to sleep your body tries cycling again when it shouldn't and you usually end up waking before the cycle is complete. This leaves you feeling groggy, even though you got a ton of sleep.

So try experimenting with different amounts of sleep. It varies from person to person, but most people only need just under 8 hours of sleep. If you're really desperate, I think there's medical equipment to track your REM phases and stuff, but that's probably on the prohibitively expensive side of desperation.

You also need to try to sleep on a regular schedule. Get to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time every day. Experiment with daily naps and see if that helps.

Taking caffeinated beverages out of your diet would probably help too. It sticks in your system for a long time and may be making your sleep shallower than it needs to be. Coffee, tea, energy drinks, and maybe even caffeinated sodas can mess your sleep up even in small doses, especially if you drink them before bed.

I've found that prolonged periods of boredom tend to make me tired. Maybe you just need something stimulating to do. Granted, that may be difficult/impossible at work. Can't live without passion.

Or depression. That makes me tired, too. I don't think I can give you advice for curing that, though.

As a confirmed narcoleptic, may I suggest going in for a sleep study? 

Do you start dreaming immediately after falling asleep?
Do you ever get sleep paralysis?
Do your muscles ever just go limp, especially after an emotional response?
These are all very frequently associated with the big 'N'.

Can Narcolepsy come and go?

I'm just coming off of three or four months of being tired all the time. So tired I would break out into crying in random places just from the pain of it, of wanting to just go to sleep so bad. I'd actually start dreaming before I fell asleep, so I've had that too. I would wake up refreshed... for maybe an hour or two, and then that's it, that's all a full night of sleep got me. My life was basically falling apart, because I didn't feel awake enough to do practically anything.

And the worst part is, I didn't even realize how bad it was until a couple days ago, because it suddenly stopped. Now I'm actually awake, or just "normal-tired" because I didn't get enough sleep. It's like a light switched on.

Suddenly I'm normal again - but terrified that it's only temporary.

Well I always try to eat a healthy amount and a varied diet so I get all what I need.

I have tried to go to bed at a certain time but I can never seem to get a set schedule. With the amount I'm sleeping right now it's defiantly 6-7+ sometimes even 13 hours sleep when I'm to tired from work. I do have naps but sometimes I will go to bed at 2pm for a nap and not get up till 10am the following day :P, these naps are not I'm a little tired I will freshen up they are it's 2pm in the afternoon I can not even move from my sofa so I will just sleep here until I drag my self up to bed.

I don't sleep sort of well to begin with I am a very light sleeper so I tend to wake up 1-2 times a night.

On the topic of Narcolepsy I don't think I have had a dream for several months now and I normally remember dreaming. I don't get limp muscles but if I get overly stressed, angry or upset It makes me very very sleepy to the point where I could just sit down and sleep exactly where I am

Since dreaming occurs during REM sleep, and you mention being a light sleeper and waking up frequently, this leads me to think you're not getting enough REM sleep. REM is also the primary state in which your brain refreshes and regenerates. I second the idea of signing up for a sleep study, as lacking sufficient REM sleep can become a serious health issue (if you didn't get any at all, you'd eventually die because the brain is essentially starved.)

I've got similar stuff script. Doctors are generally useless everyone tells me to go to another one.

My bet is it's depression.

Firstly, dreaming occurs in different types of sleep, not just REM, and is somewhat different depending on what part. Secondly, it isn't just REM sleep which is important; and you can also be getting too much REM sleep, which from what I recall has been linked strongly to depression. In general though, sleep abnormalities will have odd effects on you, sometimes including encouraging depression, which then induces further sleep problems, in a vicious cycle.
