Had to be out of town for the weekend, so I haven't really been busy on this or the pixel tileset; but as I was away, during my free time, I have developed a prototype scout craft to add to the Blood-class airships:
Armok's Sight: Nazushker Anrizabras Nom - Bloodeye, the Sky-Seer of GodIt's tiny, cheap and easy to produce. Only hold-back would be the red materials. But until I claim the farmables in the caverns below, we'll just have to deal with signature-less aircraft.
I just refined it's blueprints a bit more (might need more work). It is probably as small as I can get it using a single boiler as the chassis to operate with. Still rather significantly armed for a scout, having a lower ballista, an upper rear-facing ballista, and a central topside catapult; with still enough room for ammo, food, and a squad of handgunners. It has 2 vert engines, and a single forward engine, and allows for a pilot, a navigator, and an engineer to pilot it. Overall, it's rather cheap and quick to produce, provided the materials, of course.
Others to still to develop that are still in "Idea Phase" (or at least fun to think up) are: (Name, Sky-class, "of God")
-Scout Class (In Post: Bloodeye, Sky-seer)
-Fighter Class (Bloodbolt, Sky-warrior)
-Bomber Class (Bloodbarrel, Sky-fell)
-Escort Class (Bloodshield, Sky-guard)
-Gunship Class (Bloodspike Sky-pierce)
-Dropship Class (Bloodwagon Sky-embark)
-Frigate Class (Previously done: Bloodfist, Sky-fortress)
-Destroyer Class (Bloodsword, Sky-eviscerator)
-Cruiser Class (WIP: Bloodaxe, Sky-executioner)
-Large Cruiser Class (Or Juggernauts; Bloodarmor, Sky-throne has been thought of being worked on in the future)
-Battlecruiser Class (Bloodmace, Sky-eliminator)
-Battleship Class (Bloodspear, Sky-vindicator)
-Super Battleship Class (Bloodhammer, Sky-crusher)
-Aerial Aircraft Carrier (Big enough to carry a fleet of the smaller ones from Dropship to smaller) (Bloodquiver, Sky-distributor)
-Sky-Fortress Class (Equal in size to an actual in-game fortress (will take forever to produce)) (Bloodborn, Avatar of God)
-Colonization/Embark Class (Bloodpick, The Strike of God)
EDIT:
I noticed a bit of inconsistency with the naming; but in canon, all these other classes of ships were not as likely to produce; so the frigate was as big as it could get at the time. Once this is finished, along with the mass-produced lesser classes within the region as well (provided plenty of surplus materials and free time/safety), it would be understood within the canon that the class names of the older ships can't just be retconned to a different title; especially after the original is already a decade old.
