Adelaide physically flinches away, as if Tyrone had hit her instead of just riding alongside. He was just that evil.

"She's not in distress!

Go away you...cruel..bully!" She said, standing inbetween Nathara and Tyrone-protecting her from him.

Well, Adelaide was still closer to her than Tyrone, and, well, Adelaide was... unpredictable, to say the least, so Nathara popped out from behind Adelaide and mouthed a
"Yes."

He sighs, shaking his head and looking down at Adelaide, arms crossed.

: "You should ask what she wants to do instead of simply assuming she wishes to go along with your plans, Adelaide. Such lack of thought for others is ill-becoming of a Priestess."

"She's totally excited to go!

...right?" She finishes, turning back to her.

: "Her expression seems to say otherwise."

:"Well, uh, yeah. ...He's right."

: "Well, then, I believe I heard that you had studying planned for this evening. That is a time consuming pastime, and it would do well not to tarry overlong before beginning..."

Nathara shoots an apologetic look at Adelaide before rushing off to her tent to study. She'd been on the T'larr rune (just starting dark magic studies, really), as she could recall- and her memory did not easily fail her.
T'larr... T'larr... One of the basic "Cornerstone" runes, as they are called, T'larr runes -and they are a series of runes, like most runes though in the visible effect of the spell only the last of them is typically visible- are larger than the average rune, but are necessary: they are the rune that allows for the channeling of dark magic energy, and as such are found in all dark magic spells.
...Oh yes, she had T'larr runes quite memorized, and she'd been practicing speedwriting them in case she ever needed to whip up a minor spell. (But of course, any real spell needs a tome, the amount of runes needed in a powerful dark magic spell are simply astounding.)

Tyrone looks at the Priestess, pausing a moment.


: "I apologize for denying you companionship, but I could not allow her to simply be forced into it. Were it possible for me to suggest someone to replace her, I would."

[Dwarmin]

:"Well, uh, yeah. ...He's right."

Blink, blink.
"...Okay! But you'll really owe me another night, when you're schedule is...more open. Can't study forever! No fun!"

...

Then she turns to Tyrone.

"...why do you insist on making my life miserable!" Adelaide says, bounding off in cute anger.

Elian watched the spectacle with a small amount of concern. With a sigh, he removed his hood, walking over to Adelaide.

"I bet you've never heard of the Alefire. It hits a lot harder than the Austryn Sunrise, and is served at a bar I'm quite fond of."

He put a hand on her shoulder, attempting to lead her away from the mage and rider, in order to avoid more conflict.

"Plus, there's a place nearby that I'm sure you're not familiar with. You'd probably be interested in their intricate nail art."

Adelaide seems to approve of moving away from Tyrone, at least.

As Elian speaks, a bright flush seems to color her cheeks. One gets the impression she is the sort of person who has many friends, yet few confidants-people she truly trusts.

She fans her face is trying to put out a wildfire.

"Hoo...that's...very sweet of you, Elian. I think I'd like that.

...and, I suppose I shouldn't let myself get so flustered...there's always something to look forward to..."

"Hm? What is that, exactly?"

[Dwarmin]

"Well, a good friendship of course-and celebration. We're alive, right? We might not be tomorrow. So, I do try to only think positive and enjoy the good things in life while I can. Serious people...like that Tyrone...just get me depressed.

...Well, you're also serious sometimes, Elian, but you can be...very sweet, if you need to be. I enjoy working with you, because of that."
