"The militia captain scratches The Kobold Thief in the head, tearing the muscle, shattering the skull and bruising the brain!"

I think he needs to trim his nails!

That's what DF needs, The gutbuster brigade.  Screw that elf and his cat. Thibbledorf Pwent is the real hero.

As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Nothing out of the ordinary. If you make a guy pump(operate) for a year, he'll be able to scratch right through bones

Why am I getting the mental image of a military captain 'manicuring' (sharpening) his nails with the deceased Kobald's skull?

Things are very seldom what they seem. In my experience, they’re usually a damn sight worse.

i've seen a crundle scratch a great speardwarf to death because he was tired.

it's one of the quirks with the combat system. kicking someone's head off is also possible right now.

Sounds like my 5th grade teacher. She had a habit of tapping me on the head with her damn nails. Of course by 5th grade I'd reached the point where I actually used a portable chalk board to segregate myself from the rest of the class as much as possible while still being able to see the main board soooo.........

Well lets see... at least half of what I say is complete bullshit. Hell the other half tends to be pretty sketchy...

OOOOHHHH,JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY AND MAYBE I'LL GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

Consider yourself lucky that

1. She wasn't a pump operator in a previous occupation
2. You aren't a kobold
