Objects Floating in Magma

I am currently playing a succession fort with a friend in which I made all dwarves magma-proof through modding the raws. One of them is stuck under some magma because someone channeled the tile she was standing on. If I dig sideways into the magma, and she is right there where I dig out the wall, will the magma take her sideways into the hole I dig, or will the magma flow without her?
