When I was drafting my random migrants into the squads, I noticed an odd name: Bosa Matool.
That doesen't sound like an dwarf name. He was a perfectly normal dwarf married to dwarf Domas Kubukcatten. Her children had a dwarf names. His parents had goblin names, and so did her grandparents.
I decided it was a time for some legends investigation.
Bosa Matool was a female dwarf born year 203 in a dark fortress of Stolenfang. Her parents were both 18 years old at the moment. They were a ordinary dwarven farmer family. Bosa's mother, Aslot Stasostmox was a daughter of two adbucted dwarves. Her father, Strodno Azstroguno was a son of two great dwarves: Ngebzo Mugbarstruks Sospudosta Oknus and Ngokang Ostaxomu Snerxane Kutsmob. Both of them were a children of abducted dwarves. They got their names from murdering people (goblin ethics, you know. They may murder someone who accidentally took their beer). They had killed 8 and 9, respectively.
Everything changed in a late summer of 208, when the dwarven civilization of The Ageless Ship declared war upon the goblin civilization Jade Tick. The army of thousand dwarves marched down from the mountains and attacked to the dark fortress of Limpedhex. Goblin army was only about three hundred goblins and dwarves strong (but they had BLIND CAVE BEARS). They were crushed. Bosa's parents and grandfather were killed. Her grandmother had died one year earlier, murdered by some goblin.
Her mother's left foot was ripped by some dwarf. Then that dwarf torn her eyes and stabbed her hands. Then he stabbed her into lower body until she died.
After that battle the Jade Tick was doomed. Dwarves pillaged and conquered every dark fortress they could find. Proper peace treaty was never made, since the goblin civilization was wiped out from the map.
The dwarven army arrived to Stolenfang in midautumn. Administarator was appointed and the new goverment was formed. Bosa Matool become a citizen of the dwarven civilization along with many other children of snatched dwarves. She married to Domas Kubukcatten in 218. Their first child was born in 225. They had five more children (two of them were abducted, one twice, both were murdered in a goblin civs). Domas died 241 after a hydra attacked him. After her children had grown up, Bosa migrated to the Fortress of Fountainwash in the year 268.
