Cave moss growing before discovering caverns
« on: June 21, 2013, 01:43:15 am »

So I've started nice fort on a good biome. I were digging the initial storehouses and meeting room, when I noticed that there is cave fungus growing from the soil - in this case, from sandy clay and white sand. I haven't breached the caverns. The sand is turning to blueish from the moss. There is even some tower-cap saplings.

Bug? Weird world gen error? What is this?

EDIT: There is magma furnaces in the furnace list, too, even though I haven't seen magma in this map yet.

You had a previous fort nearby that already discovered those caverns and the magma sea.

Oh, okay. Yeah, I have another fort nearby. So it was pretty normal after all. Thanks.
