So after getting really addicted to the naruto universe and everything I though it could make a good mod, with the amount of events which happen within the universe and the dynamics between the ninja villages and the main country's which fund them.
So I'm going to start to mod in the naruto universe I have a good idea on some of the concepts which I'm going to include and the old gods DLC makes it even better with the addition of rebels with a leader and landless adventures.
So is anyone else interested in this ? I would always be interested in working with people and this would be a nice learning experience for me as well with it being my first mod.
So here are a few of my ideas ( some of them might not be workable with the modding system but I'm planning in looking into it )
The main thing to focus on is that there are two worlds at play. The main world where countries are fighting and there is diplomacy happening at that point and the ninja villages and the infighting in the Shinobi world
Just a few beginning and starting ideas
Countries and ninja villages:
So with the country's being the main place for ninja villages playing a country you will also put funding into the village and be able to use them in wars against other villages and they be a sort of second military. You will be able to post assassination and your village will be able to take that up to gain more money and kill your enemy's, this is not a sure fire way as your assassination will only go as well as the ninja chosen to take part in the assassination ( maybe use teams of characters )
The ability to create villages and dismantle, so if a smaller country manages to take enough territory and become powerful and rich enough they can form a ninja village within their territory - these Villages can get destroyed though events or wars so it should be possible to recreate the village after destruction.
Another main point is making playing a country leader or vessel interesting as well as making playing a ninja village interesting as well with naruto series mostly focusing on the ninja world I will have to use a lot of general Japanese titles and other stuff to supplement.
Ninja villages:
Playing as republics and being a separate entity from the general warring of the countries and having the kage chosen from one of the 5 family's which come with a republic ( I'm hoping I can change the mechanics slightly for how the leader of a republic is chosen slightly, with the main factor being military skill and also take in other effects like traits and skills ect...)
I'm also hoping I can have quite a few different types of soldiers for military with there being a being difference between what a country and what a ninja village can field and the amount of units they do field - so a Shinobi village could field [ 50 genin, 10 Chunin, 5 jonin ] and the fire country could field [ 10,000 ronin 4,000 cavalry, 1,000 archers ] but the fire country could not field an ninja types. With the implementation of old gods and ally's being a addition to your own forces you can have your village add its own ninjas to any current standing army's.
Any characters currently in the your village can also be given titles and be sent on missions as well and earn money for the village - not sure how to implement jutsu currently for characters but I might only stuck with the bloodlines and any special jutsu like sages which can have special effects and trigger events.
Also with the ninja villages being republics they can build trade posts ( outposts ) which in effect with ninja villages being republics and earning money from missions in terms of background the outposts would be the range of how far you can send out ninja to perform missions, so villages and family's can compete for the outposts for more money.
Special events:
So with landless adventures I can add the Akatsuki in effectively depending in the time in history is being played.
I could also add the jinjuriki as well as events and characters of immense power leading to events after defeat which lead to them being "sealed" into characters leading to massive buffs and other events.
TL;DR: just a few ideas which could be implemented into the mod and make the world and mod interesting although this is really dependent on how much I can mod, how good I get at doing it and if I have any help.
I think it would make a great mod when implemented right even more so for multiplayer with people playing ninja villages and country's and going through events and other stuff.
I would love some feedback if people like the idea of this mod and what could be potentially added.

Sorting the kage title:
Well small villages without a kage their village leader is simply the village leader haha
but the ninja villages would be republics so the "doge" would be replaced by village leader and then I was thinking of making Shinobi a religion and there are only ever 5 kage made up of village leaders and only the five strongest villages are given the title of kage so thee is something to fight for and then kage could open new events - also I would be using pagan style religion so it's not counted as a theocracy
