Have you guys heard about Space Engine? It's this wonderful space simulator developed by one guy.
It's completely free, and you can go to and explore anywhere you want, from Earth to distant galaxies.

It features:

Moons, planets, stars, galaxies, nebulas, black holes, comets and asteroids, to name a few.
Trillions of planets, Millions of galaxies, Billions of stars.

Known astronomical things are represented in the simulator using actual data. Areas unknown are procedurally generated.

Orbital motion is represented, with ability to modify the speed of time.

Lens flares, eclipses, rings, auroras, high detail 3D planet surfaces. And much more.

It does require a somewhat large amount of processing power though.'
It's completely free.

Here are some pictures of it:

gwarble

Putting images of that size into spoilers (or resizing them) is a tremendously good idea. And then making the spoilers themselves a warning about the buggeroff huge pictures.
